By registering for Ministry Leaders' Family Camp, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions are about making the event fun and safe for everyone. Any questions can be forwarded to Richard Apperley, Events Manager, by emailing richard@anglicanmovement.nz.
Fees and Refunds
Fees for Ministry Leaders' Family Camp are determined by the age the attendee will be at the start of camp.
If you are unable to attend for any reason, we can offer a full refund if notified by 11am on Wednesday 25 February. We cannot guarantee refunds after this date as we will have confirmed numbers for catering and accommodation with the venue at this stage.
In the unlikely event of MLFC being cancelled, refunds will be offered minus any fees or costs already incurred towards camp.
Photography and Media
There will be official photographers on site at our events. Attendees not wanting their image used for Anglican Movement communications (print, web and digital) must indicate this on the registration form and wear a specially coloured lanyard at all times.
Use of Information
The information supplied on the registration form is used for organising camp (meals, accommodation, health and safety, etc.) and for communicating information to participants (e.g. phone number and email for messaging and emails).
This may include being added to a temporary WhatsApp community or group for essential communication prior to and during the event. Participants may mute or leave this group at any time, though doing so may limit their ability to receive important updates.
Health, Safety, and Risk Acceptance
Attendees understand that Ministry Leaders' Family Camp offers activities where injury may occur. While all practicable steps will be taken to ensure your safety, Anglican Movement accepts no liability for any loss, injury, or damage to your property or person.
If you are unwell you should not come to camp until you are better. If you are unwell with diarrhoea or vomiting you need to stay home and be symptom-free for 48 hours. Sickness can spread rapidly at an event like this, so please think of others before bringing sickness to camp.
You agree to: obey any and all camp rules as advised during the event; notify us of any hazard or potential hazard identified; tell us if you cannot participate in any activity or if there is anything (such as illness or injury) which may affect our decision to allow you to participate in any activity; not do anything which may put yourself or others at risk of harm.
Supervision of Children
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for the supervision, safety, and behaviour of their children at all times unless they are participating in an officially supervised children’s programme.
Prohibited Substances and Items
Strictly no drugs or drug paraphernalia on site – except for legitimate medical purposes.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on site.
Alcohol is not permitted on site at any time.
Anyone found in possession of prohibited substances, smoking or vaping, or consuming alcohol on site may be asked to leave the event and may be refused further entry. Any drug-related incidents will be dealt with by the Event Manager and may be referred to the police.
Weapons, fireworks, and other hazardous items are strictly prohibited.
Pets and Service Animals
No pets or animals are permitted on site.
Registered service animals are welcome but must be declared on the registration form and supervised at all times. Attendees are responsible for the care, behaviour, and waste of any service animal they bring.
Accommodation, Damage, and Lost Keys
You agree to respect all facilities, cabins, tents, and equipment provided.
Lost keys will incur a replacement fee of $45.
Damage to accommodation, furniture, equipment, or grounds caused by negligence, misuse, or failure to follow instructions may be charged to the individual or family responsible.
Accommodation and allocated facilities must be left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the event. Additional cleaning required due to excessive mess may result in a charge.
Vehicles, Parking, and Site Access
You agree to follow all parking instructions, speed limits, and access restrictions. Vehicles are parked at your own risk.
Noise and Behaviour
All attendees agree to show respect to others, observe quiet hours as advised onsite, and follow any directions given by camp staff or event organisers.
Emergency Procedures
Attendees must familiarise themselves with the venue’s evacuation procedures and any emergency information provided on arrival. All attendees must follow instructions given by staff during an emergency or drill, including evacuations and assembly requirements.
Communication Permission
By registering you agree to receiving postal, text/WhatsApp, and email communication from Anglican Movement, with the understanding that you may unsubscribe at any time.
